Elizabeth Grepp

Elizabeth Grepp

Yoga teacher
The first steps of Elizabeth’s yoga journey began while she was living in Costa Rica, where she was introduced to the rigorous Ashtanga practice. In 2010, she decided to deepen her practice by taking the yoga teacher training plunge studying Jivasara (a loving combination of Jivamukti and Anusara yoga) under Marni Task. In 2105, she joined an international group of yogis for the first annual Accessible Yoga Conference in Santa Barbara, California. Surrounded by this community of like-minded yogis, she focused her mission on making yoga accessible to all and has continued with this mission under the mentorship of YogaReach founder, Char Grossman. She draws inspiration from many schools of yoga. She strives to make her students comfortable; newbies to seasoned yogis are welcomed in her classes. It is her belief that if you have a body, you can have a yoga practice!

During my class we will create an environment where you can work on letting go while experiencing peace within. I will also encourage you to listen to your body, not your ego. There will Never be any judgment! I will always challenge you while offering many modifications. After being exposed to a challenging asana and experiencing it just a few times, you will be proud of yourself as you mastered it on your own or let go of the fear you were carrying within. You will gain inner strength along with improving your flexibility. Occasionally I will try to pick an asana and break it down from beginning to end so you feel more confident even if you already knew the asana before. Leaving my class, you should feel better about yourself physically and mentally. A little bit about me: I took my first yoga class in 1998. I am goofy, but kind. I confuse my right from my left and sometimes even body parts (will say foot but really mean knee). I am encouraging and get excited to watch my student s grow and have a good time learning/practicing. I learn from you as much as you learn from me! In the end… we are all students.
Sue McCormick

Sue McCormick

Yoga teacher
Bio for Sue McCormick. My path to yoga came about as my oldest child began preparing to attend college. I was often contemplating what I could do to reinvent myself at this point in my life. I attended my first yoga class at the encouragement of a close friend and was immediately attracted to the calming and restorative effects of yoga. No matter what kind of yoga class it was, I always left feeling transformed. I soon realized that practicing yoga has so many benefits for both body and mind. I decided to pursue yoga teacher training to share my love of yoga and in September 2016, I graduated from Zen Studio & Healing Arts as a RYT 200. I am a life student of yoga and enjoy attending workshops, taking classes and reading anything that has to do with yoga! Uniting the breath with the mind and body is the heart of yoga. When we are able to achieve this, we open ourselves up to realizing physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. The classes that I lead are breath centered and alignment based, with instructive cueing, creative sequencing and a sprinkling of yoga philosophy. My goal is to pass my love of yoga to my students and help them feel happy, healthy and whole. "The tree that bends doesn't break" Namaste.

ZsaZsa Chew

Yoga and Pilates teacher
Yoga and Pilates have been my source of energy for the past few years. My personal Practice gives me a safe space to be vulnerable and open, a space where I can find strength without the heaviness and stress of reality. As a teacher, I find purpose in helping my students to be the best version of themselves by being free from physical and emotional pain. Healing both what can be seen and what often goes unnoticed. I believe that Yoga and Pilates is the best form of Physical Therapy, with the teacher being the guide and the students becoming the healer of their own body. This relationship in Therapy is most helpful because the student is independent and in complete control of their body. Gentle and Controlled movements focused on anatomy and rehabilitation are the substance of my teaching style that my student appreciate. I take pride in my students’ testimonials of how my classes have changed their body completely. They get a renewed awareness of their own body and strength and flexibility that liberates them from pain. Taking control of the body and correcting bad postural habits are key to healing.

Olga Zamyatin

Yoga teacher
Lifelong student of yoga, I started teaching in 2007, after my RYT-200 certification with Yoga Alliance. In 2009 I got certified in Mat and Reformer Pilates by Balanced Body. I was a Mind and Body group fitness instructor at a large fitness center for several years, until I decided to leave the corporate world and help my friend to grow a small yoga and pilates studio. Also at that time I was teaching yoga in a nursery home, and Ayurvedic center. In my career, I’ve been teaching different styles of yoga, such as Hatha, Gentle yoga, Yogalatis, Chair yoga. My favorite style is Vinyasa, where I pay attention on proper alignment. Every class for me is a chance to learn from my students. Often I combine my knowledge of yoga and Pilates to make sure the students get the best results from the practice. My classes can be challenging, but always safe. In 2014 I moved to South Korea with my family for two years. I continued practicing and teaching yoga to expats and locals. Traveling in Asia, I experienced the culture, tradition, and holistic way of life, which I bring to the mat in my everyday practice. I continue my yoga journey and participate in annual yoga retreats and conferences, and I was fortunate to study with incredible teachers like Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Paul Grilley, Ana Forrest and Rodney Yee. I am passionate about yoga and feel privileged to share my knowledge and experience with people. Prior to my yoga journey, I worked as a stage designer at Yaroslavl Theater in Russia. I got my BFA in 2000, the same year my family arrived to the United States. Theater and Art remain another passion in my life to this day.
