Channon has been practicing yoga on and off since 1998. During which time she was also establishing a career in Stenography. Life was overwhelming at times, as commitments were extremely demanding and time management was difficult. Fortunately, yoga helped her breath and center through many of those stressful situations.
In December 2000, she was involved in a severe snow skiing accident. As a result she lives with daily pain. For a short while she
forgot how yoga was the answer to curing her ailments, but has now come to the realization that she cannot live without it! Yoga is not only good for your body, but also for your mind and spirit.
In 2002, she had her first child and to this day still isn’t sure how she could have made it through the 22 hours of intense labor without breathing and centering as yoga has taught her. While applying the practice of yoga her second child delivery seemed effortless.
She completed her “Yoga Teacher Training” at “T.R.Y. 4 Life” in February 2012. Upon completion she registered with “The Yoga Alliance”. She teaches a fabulous beginners class that makes you feel more rejuvenated than you did before you walked into her class. You will also find your inner-strength along with improving your flexibility. She also teaches fundamentals, vinyasa flow, and kid’s yoga classes. She continues her yoga education through attendance of new classes and workshops.
There is a lifetime of learning out there for anyone!
