I became interested in yoga in high school. I was not into conventional sports. I was somewhat introverted, shy, and awkward. I had a tendency to look within. Therefore yoga appealed to me. Additionally, I suffer from allergies and asthma; I was constantly trying to breathe. I wanted to find my breath but felt as if my body was limited. Kundalini Yoga, including specific breathing techniques like the breath of fire, sparked my interest. After giving it a few tries, I felt better. I felt open and clear. I wanted to take control of my health. Therefore I continued learning about the different styles of yoga. Eventually, turning my passion into a career. I was working as a preschool teacher at Kiddie Company Enrichment Center and thought how cool if I could teach kids yoga. I would encourage children to control their energy and focus while providing a creative outlet for them to explore. I started teaching preschool yoga in Lyndhurst in 2015 and loved it.
Later, I completed my YTT225 at Spynga Flows Chagrin Falls in 2015 with teacher Carina Parr + a 6-month internship program at the Spynga Flows. Next, I completed my Cycle training under Carina Parr + a 3-month internship at the studio. I currently teach at three studios teaching a variety of classes. Reading books, taking training, and workshops are a regular part of my life.
