Yoga and Pilates have been my source of energy for the past few years. My personal Practice gives me a safe space to be vulnerable and open, space where I can find strength without the heaviness and stress of reality.
As a teacher, I find purpose in helping my students to be the best version of themselves by being free from physical and emotional pain. Healing both what can be seen and what often goes unnoticed. I believe that Yoga and Pilates are the best forms of Physical Therapy, with the teacher being the guide and the students becoming the healer of their own body. This relationship in Therapy is most helpful because the student is independent and in complete control of their body. Gentle and Controlled movements focused on anatomy and rehabilitation are the substance of my teaching style that my students appreciate.
I take pride in my students’ testimonials of how my classes have changed their body completely. They get a renewed awareness of their own body and strength and flexibility that liberates them from pain. Taking control of the body and correcting bad postural habits are key to healing.
